Trainee Hardware Engineer

As a Trainee Hardware Engineer, you will be an integral part of our hardware engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware components and systems. Under the mentorship of seasoned engineers, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills, contribute to exciting projects, and lay the foundation for a successful career in hardware engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of hardware components, including schematic design and PCB layout.
• Contribute to testing and validation processes, ensuring hardware meets design specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, test results, and project progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and other stakeholders.
• Develop problem-solving skills by identifying and resolving hardware-related issues.
• Adhere to industry standards and best practices in hardware engineering.
• Seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HNC / HND or equivalent. Alternatively working towards a relevant qualification in electronic engineering.
• Passion for hardware engineering with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Basic understanding of hardware design principles.
• Familiarity with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
