We are looking for exceptional talent to join our inspiring multinational teams, and right now we are seeking to recruit a highly skilled Drupal Developer to join our IT Team . 

We are a year into an exciting multi-year digital transformation programme at Megger and looking to expand our delivery team with developers with a strong focus on Drupal. The programme is focused on delivering exceptional experiences to our customers, helping them to discover our products more easily, deliver self-serve support journeys, book online services and much more to come.

The key responsibilities

  • Develop responsive front-end components using paragraphs and Drupal themes.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate components with Drupal.
  • Perform configuration changes to Drupal sites.
  • Integrate third-party systems and APIs with Drupal
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across environments.
  • Ensure code meets industry best practices, security standards, and performance benchmarks.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility of front-end components.
  • Write and optimise semantic code for performance and search engine optimisation (SEO).
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
  • Keep up to date with the latest Drupal technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years development experience
  • Expertise in PHP, Drupal, HTML and MySQL
  • CI/CD pipeline management
  • Experience with Drupal theming and template development
  • Dependency management with Composer
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
